College Development Takes Shape

Dave Squires of Seddon works on the steel frame to a new teaching block at Hemsworth Arts and Community College in Wakefield.

Despite atrocious weather conditions, Seddon’s Normanton office is still on target for a December handover of the building, which will provide state-of-the art learning and recreational facilities for the school’s 1,750 pupils, as well as the wider Hemsworth community.

This is the third contract carried out by Seddon on behalf of Wakefield Council Council. The company’s Normanton office is based in Normanton Industrial Estate, Ripley Drive.
