New £50m Bentilee Neighbourhood Centre Draws to a Close
Construction has drawn to a close at new £50 million public joint service centre in Stoke-on-Trent.
J & S Seddon (Building) Ltd has been carrying out the building work at the Bentilee Neighbourhood Centre, on behalf of Regenter, the equity investor and project manager. Regenter is an investor in social housing and community based PFI projects.
A joint initiative between Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke-on-Trent Primary Care Trust, the new centre will bring together a broad range of services, including healthcare and housing, and a local authority ‘One Stop Shop,’ all under the same one roof. A community hall has also been created for local use.
Work has been completed on time and within budget at the development. J & S Seddon (Building) will be responsible for the facilities management at the centre when it opens.
